This is a weekly comic where text responses from AI create a different kind of spin on AI, and other topics too. Aside from the text in the comic, everything else is created by me, Joel Dreskin.

Part of the idea was to see where different kinds of prompts to AI would go. As this has started to take shape, it's seemed to me that AI has a bit of an attitude that's showing up in the comics. The post on this website for each comic includes the exact prompt that was input along with the un-edited text in the comics which comes directly from AI.

My background is from the business world, including an MBA from University of Michigan, years in advertising, software product management / product marketing a while back, marketing, and production for online and in person showcases about videogames. I've drawn cartoons and doodled much of my life with inspirations from MAD Magazine, Far Side, comic books, and many other sources. ArtEyeComic is a fun new platform for me and will hopefully share some thoughtful moments with readers on the emerging and evolving world of AI. While there are definite and legitimate concerns in the world about AI replacing human work, this comic is different in a few ways. I've chatted with some over the years in search of a creative writing collaborator. While those chats didn't go anywhere, there's potential here now with a role for AI, that's not replacing collaborations that hadn't come into place, and it's helping with a new outlet for art I like to create.
